Before
Sina ran the Mo'orea humpback expedition out of an Excel finance system, two email inboxes, three Instagram DMs, a Notion ops doc, and a private chef invoice spreadsheet. Every booking was a copy-paste exercise.
The hardest moment was always end-of-season settlement with her co-host Szabi: who got which guest's deposit, who paid which boat day, what was the EUR-USD rate when. They got there eventually, but it cost a week.
What changed
Sina moved her 2026 season onto Expedition during the build-up to summer. Six trips, three hosts (50 / 50 / 0 — Ibbeyz joined as a free shark-safety contributor), four guests per trip.
Bookings flowed through Stripe Connect into Sina's account. Costs landed in EUR, USD, and AUD on the same trips — multi-currency reports just worked. The villa was logged once and allocated by-nights across six trips automatically.
