Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-04-30

Plain-language draft. This page is a working summary. The full counsel-reviewed terms are available on request via [email protected].

These terms govern your use of Expedition — the multi-tenant SaaS for expedition leaders. By signing up, you agree to them. If you have questions, write to [email protected].

Who we are

Expedition is operated by [Expedition Operating Entity Ltd]. We provide software-as-a-service to expedition leaders to run their bookings, payments, costs, hosts, and guest comms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must use a current and valid email and provide accurate information about yourself and your business.

You may invite others to your workspace under one of the supported roles (Owner, Co-host, Back-office, Read-only). You are responsible for the actions of users you invite.

Subscription, fees, and refunds

Plan pricing is published at /pricing. Fees are charged monthly or annually in advance. Annual subscriptions get two months free vs monthly.

If you choose the optional 1.5%-per-confirmed-booking plan, the fee is collected via Stripe Application Fee on each booking transitioning to confirmed, capped at €100 per booking.

You may cancel at any time. We do not pro-rate the current period; access continues until the period end.

Your data

You own your tenant data. We act as a processor on your behalf for personal data of your guests, leads, and partners. Our processing terms are in the Data Processing Addendum.

You can export everything (CSV + files) at any time. If you cancel and ask us to delete, we soft-delete for 30 days, then hard-purge.

Acceptable use

Don't use Expedition to break the law, harass anyone, or run trips that violate environmental or wildlife regulations. Don't reverse-engineer the service or scrape it. Don't take payments for things you can't deliver. Common-sense rules.

Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly uptime on the operator app and 99.9% on public Trip pages. If we miss it, we may credit your next bill at our discretion. Status is published at status.exply.app.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or business interruptions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes get notified via email and a banner in the app at least 30 days before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction TBD], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction TBD].
