How it works

In four steps. Or three. Or two — depends on the trip.

  1. Step 1

    Assign hosts to a trip

    Lead host, co-hosts, specialists. Each gets a revenue basis (net, gross, flat fee, or none). Free contributors marked as 'none' show up in the trip but not the financial split.

  2. Step 2

    Costs and advances accumulate

    When a host pays a cost on their personal card, the system auto-creates a HostAdvance. They never chase reimbursement; you never lose receipts.

  3. Step 3

    Build settlement

    End of season, hit Settle. We compute revenue per recipient, advances per host, agreed shares, and a clean per-host net.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm and lock

    Each non-zero-share host confirms their line in their portal. Once everyone confirms, you lock it. Locked is immutable. Money moves outside the platform (or via Stripe Connect transfers in V2).
